Styling with Chanwon #4 | OOTD Look with Meams

Hello Sweeties 💕 Welcome back to my blog and now it's the first week of 2018! So today I'm going to continue my Styling with Chanwon series so that you guys could bookmarked and keep this as reference. Remember the previous post about winter ootd in Japan? Never know you guys love it so much and it motivates me to come out with more OOTD ideas to benefit my readers. Since I only able to upload one OOTD on my instagram, I decided to keep all these photo and do a complete post for you guys this time.

I added everything together and decided to gather all my OOTD look with Meams for you guys on this post. For those who love casual or daily outfit, you guys could check out their online store. | OOTD #1: Grey Blazer  

So this is my top favourite. I always wanted to get myself a nice and good blazer because I believe a good blazer can easily brings out the chic for our outfit. Unfortunately, I always ended up get really disappointed of the quality and cutting of the blazer. I bought one in Korea but it's just too loose for me and got no way to alter it. So when I saw this grey blazer from Meams, I was like wtf! I must get this for myself and at the same time I'm praying hard for the blazer. It better fit for me lol

So when I received this, I was super duper excited. Guess what, it fits me perfectly omg. Even suitable for petite size UK6-8 too. The shoulder cutting just nice on my body, not too loose and the grey just look really Korean. Since it's my first time wearing a grey blazer, I thought of (anyhow) just match with one of my favourite lace trim slit jeans by Meams too. So I can easily tag on my instagram photo and simply throw on everything to complete my whole look.

Here's the whole outfit! I really love this grey blazer and you can wear it slightly casual like me matching it with a jeans or more formal with a black long pants + heels. Also, for more casual looking style, I decided to tie a cute ribbon on the side with the strap on my waist and I purposely pull on side lower than the other.

I'm wearing this to attend on of my friend's workshop few months ago. I guess it's casual and presentable too. If you are having a casual gathering or meeting with your client, this is a style that you might love to go with.

| OOTD #2: Feminine Lace x Flora  

As you guys know I'm quite skinny on my upper body. It's the reason why I love to wear long sleeve top / loose top or wearing a inner top over a one piece dress. If you followed my #OOTDchanwon on instagram you probably noticed I always love to mix a short sleeve white top or a lace one with a one piece item.

#ChanwonTips It's one of the tips to look pretty and not too sexy if you are quite shy. Girls with flat and skinny body like me , or you bought a really nice dress but it's too loose for you then you can use this tips to save your life. Don't throw them away or if you are too later to alter your dress then why not match it with a inner top like what I normally did on my ootd lol.

As long as you are happy with it, you can also go with something like a lace material top. It look gorgeous and add a little feminine style into your outfit. So in this time, I decided to bring out my feminine side for you guys 😂 Joking lah! Because long time no dating with Smelly, so I decided to wear something more girly than usual and we actually went to a cafe nearby Bangsar. So here's the outfit that i would love to wear when I'm dating with someone lol.

| OOTD #3: Something Comfy + Daily  

If you are going out for shopping purpose with your friends then here's a good outfit for you. It's really casual and for everyday style too. Everyone can style in this way but the main point to look really chio is the way you style with your hair. 

I'm going to attend a wedding dinner with Smelly & his family and we decided to drive all the way to Melacca. So it's somehow like a road trip from KL to Melacca and I'm going to be in a car for few hours. I prefer something more comfortable to wear and the color theme I prefer to wear something light too. 

So I decided to match my cute little slogan tee with the Asymmetrical Self-Tie Skirt Pants from Meams. I rarely bought slogan tee because I just prefer a normal white tee with anything but this one is just too cute + it's my favourite pastel color lol. Also, a plus point for the skort. It look like a skirt but it's actually a pant lol.

If you think wearing a short jeans with a slogan tee is too normal then why not match it with something like this outfit. I wear it slightly high waisted so it can makes my whole body look slightly taller.

| OOTD #4: Denim Embroidery Skirt  

For years I always prefer short skirt instead of a long one but recently, I realised that if you are matching it right, your midi skirt will somehow make you look taller. Also, more 气质 lol. The point for the midi skirt ootd is the material of the midi skirt and also the top you match with it.

If you don't want look too old, you can go for denim midi length skirt. Because I received some of your comment saying that you look really old and ugly with midi length skirt. I think if you match it with a right top, it can totally transform into next level of chio-ness lol. For this denim skirt, it's actually an embroidery one so it look much younger and more chio than a normal one + whether you are wearing a white top or a normal one, it still can makes you look sibeh chio. 

Normally people will match a white tee over denim bottom but this time since the embroidery rose has a little bit of pink tone. I decided to make it look more chio, so ended up I still match it with a pastel pink top. The top is those kawaii / cute type of top but when it match with this denim skirt, it look totally diff.

Perfect outfit for a normal day out with your parents or friends. Also, I didn't match it with any high heels. I'm just going to wear it with a low wedges shoes. It's pastel pink too :p On my hair, i decided to tie it up half so can hide my 'no hair wash day' lol. Shhh~ Don't tell others lol.

| OOTD #5: Mustard Yellow x Nude 

Mustard is a dull / dark yellow color. Previously I often hate it because I prefer something more colourful like a bright yellow lol. But I realize when taking photo with a white background, if I'm wearing mustard yellow color the whole photo turn out really soft in theme and I just love it. It's the reason why the whole month I'm challenging myself to dress up in this color so that it can coordinate with my insta theme and feed lol.

If you love something really neutral and soft color, this kind of color coordination will be one of your best choice ever. I'm inspired by those tatami traditional house / interior that I saw in Japan. It's very muji style and feel very comfortable to wear with. Quite '森琳系' style lol.

If you wanna act like a student girl lol. Or look younger HAHAAHA Then you can match it with a chio Spec like the one I'm wearing is actually from Mujosh. Very Japanese looking lol. Please say yes! lol

| OOTD #6: Never go wrong 

Not sure what to name for this outfit lol. But I must say my style will never go wrong with denim. I love denim because it make me look extra energetic and young. Whenever I'm going for a trip or travelling to a place, I must bring one denim jacket with me. It can be easily match with any bottom and top too and it's one of the best airport outfit ever.

I got lots of denim jacket and the reason why I still get this for myself is because compare to those boy friend loose denim outer , or the normal one this look slightly special since it's shorter compare to other denim jacket I have. It make my whole body ratio look really good. Normally people love to show their sexy body or S shape but for me, when I'm planning for my outfits I always focus on creating a 7:3 ratio for my body. Somehow look like I'm a 九頭身 girl.

 Denim jacket is a must!

| OOTD #7: Bright Crochet 

Another highlight of the month, it's the crochet longline outer. There are two color available but I would prefer the brighter color one. This whole outfit was pretty simple yet caught people's attention. Just simply wear a bright longline outer over a simple slogan tee with your long jeans, you can look totally different. One of the good ideas to make your most boring clothes feel new again.

| OOTD #8: Coffee Date 

Continue my mustard yellow power! HAAHAHAH I'm having a coffee date with my ex colleague. Not going to wear too over so I'm just get back my lace split jeans that I'm really in love with and matching it with a mustard yellow top. Also, a bad hair day so I'm going to tie all my hair up and wearing my everyday spec too.

| OOTD #9: Lace x Embroidery  

Other than matching with the same color tone, I also like to mix & match my outfit with diff kind of material. For example lace x embroidery too. So the whole outfit is autumn tone. A darker inner top with a completely contrast (white) lace singlet top. I matched both together to wear with a pink embroidery skirt.

| OOTD #10: Boho x Jeans  

For those who read my The replacement- Lodge & Kitchen @JB blog post, you should know this outfit. It's the outfit I'm wearing during my JB trip few months ago. I went there for my facial and decided to spend a day staying at the replacement stay. Missing the night time spending with Smelly and the food is just too good!

For this outfit, there's nothing much but the top is actually a maroon color boho top. It has the embroidery details and it's one of the trend during summer collection. Everything embroidery like the skirt I'm wearing on the previous OOTD. So to match this lovely top, I decided to go back to the basic matching it with a high waist jeans. The whole outfit is from Meams too.

| OOTD #11: Sunshine Girl 

Visited the 'We Bare Bears' Expo @Eco World few months ago with Smelly & his family. No joke, it's super duper hot and I almost cry when we couldn't get any parking at the entrance. After that, we parked at a corner of the road (the guard just guide us to the empty parking slot) and it's damn far away from the entrance lol. Not fun walking under the super duper hot sun, I should be thankful because I'm not getting any sunburn after that lol.

The expo is super duper cute except the super hot weather. I sweat like hell and can't even open my eyes lol. So ended up all photo took with this awkward pose lol. Actually most of the time when I'm having a day out with my parents or any elderly, I will wear something really really casual because I just want to feel comfortable with my outfit and at least one off day without the need to put on heavy makeup or wear too much lol.

Spot this slogan tee again. Previously I match it with the orange crochet and this time I just simply throw it together with a navy blue skirt. I really like how everything get to coordinate with each other and the style will never outdated.
