Hello Sweeties✨ Welcome back to my blog and this is quite random but just want to do a quick shoutout so that you guys can refer back to this post whenever you need. And today, I'm going to share my recent #ChanwonDieDieMust after I renovated my #ChanwonHOME 2.0 ❤️
As you guys knew I have a lot of photo frames and artwork that I collected over these few years. They means a lot to me and after renovated the whole space, my dream finally came true! I can now showcase all the photo frame! For me, I prefer not to use nails because I didn’t want to hang them on the wall, it might spoil my wainscoting wall and last but not least, I’m afraid that I bought the wrong shelf and spoil the whole interior lol.
Then all of the sudden I came out with an idea that instead of putting the frame on my table, why not just sticking it on one of our wardrobe space then I won't wasted the table space and might fully utilise and save a lot of space too. OMG then it will be like a photo wall for Smelly & I.
Next, I check through online and order few packs of 3M Command Frame Hanging Strip. Previously my studio office has been using this to stick on all the frames 🖼 around the staircase area, so far so good. So this time I'm gonna do the same for my #ChanwonHOME2.0
If you read my DIY post about the Instax Polaroid Grid Rack (read here), then you will know I'm always a fan of 3M Command products. It always come in handy and for people who renting a space, this is a solution for you! So that you no need nails on the wall.
It's super duper fast! Arrived on the next day omg. There are few types to choose, I got myself the 7.2kg and 5.4kg, where 7.2kg comes with 4 pairs while 5.4kg come with 8 pairs. Velvet material type frame doesn’t works really well on this 3M stick on wall but other than that it’s pretty good!
So as usual, before putting them on, I will arrange it according to my desire layout first. I will randomly placing each frame together and see which layout I like the most. Feel free to have fun with it. I love placing them according the colour of the frame and then the size.
This is how they looks like, a little similar like velcro but it hold stronger.
Put one at each corner, 1 frame required 4 pairs to hold up the frame weight.
The shop I order from provide clear information and details for my reference. These are the surfaces that can be applied on.
This is how I stick on my frame. For smaller and lighter frame, I stick only 2 of it.
To make our life easier, here's the steps! DAMN EASY RIGHT!
This is the after look after I sticking them on my wardrobe. You have to wait for 1 hour before sticking your frame on it.
This is the final look after putting them up on my wardrobe. They still doing good for now after 1 month now. Happy happy!!
So if you wanted to put on any artwork, photo frame or anything on the wall + DONT WANNA NAIL it on then here’s the solution for everyone. Please don’t say I never tell okay!! Enjoy :p
